Physical Properties Measurement System, PPMS (VersaLab, Quantum Design)

This facility includes a cryogenic-free Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) with a sensitivity of better than 10-6 emu/rt-Hz, magnetic field up to 3 Tesla, and a temperature range of 50 ~ 400 K.

It also contains a probe of electrical transport, capable of performing AC resistance, Hall Effect, I-V, and Differential Resistance (dV/dI vs. I) measurements with following feature:

• 1nV sensitivity, 10nΩ resolution at 100mA
• AC and DC drive amplitude 5 nA to 100mA
• Resistance ranges from 10μΩ to 5GΩ
