Our group focuses on research concerning crystallography, electronic and magnetism in functional materials.

We are committed to developing a fundamental understanding of how novel physical properties arise in those material systems as a basis for exploiting these physical
properties in various applications.

We take advantage of the nearby synchrotron facility to enable forefront research, expanding the boundaries of our characterization capability, and combining novel synthesis, to push the limits of fundamental knowledge of material physics/chemistry.

Realization of new device technologies enabled by our finding is highly emphasized.
